Azalea

So once again, I'm not super happy with the result of this painting but I keep just wasting time and painting slowly that ive got just to finish it. It ended up looking quite different from the reference, both a little bit in terms of proportions and likeness and mainly in the colour and lighting. Tried to experiment and not produce a copy but instead throw splashes of purple and yellow, as well as playing around with colour and values curves. It does look a little too orange in my opinion but at least I painted a background and it looks somewhat cohesive. It kinda looks like a sepia tone over the painting...🤔
