Seriously, projecthailmary is one of the best movies I've seen in the cinema in a long time. Just jaw dropping visuals, gorgeous music, insanely good writing thats sciencey, wholesome and full of heart. I could watch ryan gosling talk to sentient rocks for hours, honestly has amazing chemistry with anything.
I had a huge smile the whole time when watching this film and I'm so glad I went in to this movie blind so my expectations were blown away. 👎
Anyway this painting took a while and the end result is fine I guess. The reference photo was really difficult, the lighting is super complex so colour theory was giving me a field day and im still not sure my proportions are quite good enough yet. Nonetheless I really enjoyed painted this.
